Summer Creative Writing Conference 2011
This year's conference under the direction of Assistant Professor R. Dean Johnson was a great success. Read the description below of this year's conference to get an idea of what to expect in 2012.
June 6–10, 2011
Immerse yourself in creative writing for a week this June. Each student will participate in workshops discussing their and other students' original manuscripts. Further feedback on your fiction, poetry, or nonfiction is provided by conference faculty within individual conferences.Days are rounded out with group lunches and dinners. Each night also features a reading by our visiting writers. Non-credit tuition is $185 for the week, a real bargain (see bottom of page for all tuition options). A non-refundable $35 application fee is required. To apply, please submit the $35 fee and the application form to the address on the form. You will also need to submit a manuscript to the conference director at r-dean.johnson@eku.edu, no later than Saturday, May 28. The official deadline to apply is May 28.
