Program Costs


All students, regardless of their status as Kentucky residents, pay the standard online graduate tuition rate of $517 per credit hour for each section of ENW 810 and ENW 820. For the Winter and Summer Writing Residencies (both designated as ENW 800), the cost is also $517 per credit hour.

Additional Expenses

Please note that the above tuition rates do not include the cost of travel, lodging, or meals during annual residencies.

Graduate Assistantship

Currently, the program is able to offer only one graduate assistantship each year. This assistantship will be awarded to a student enrolled in the program for that academic year who lives within convenient driving distance of the Richmond campus.
