I. General Information

6. Are special testing arrangements possible for those with special problems?

In some cases special arrangements for taking the examination can be made, usually to allow an extension of the time allotted for completion of the examination. Special cases fall into two categories:

These students must register for the UWR like any other students, and they will take the UWR starting at the same time and in the same building.

If you have a condition that interferes with writing performance, you should discuss your needs with the Director of the Office of Student Judicial Affairs and Services for the Disabled (Student Services Building 315) at least two weeks prior to taking the examination.

If English is your second language, you should discuss your needs with the Director of International Education (Case Annex 181) at least two weeks prior to taking the examination.

Special arrangements can be provided a students in these two categories only if arrangements have been made in advance as indicated.

No special arrangements will be made to take the UWR at times other than the regular testing dates! This rule applies to all students
